Displays honoured with Popai Award
Twice the Effekt Grafik Werbeträger GmbH has reason to cheer at the presentation of the POPAI DACH Awards: Their Clarisonic merchandiser won gold, their counter display for various fragrances of the brand Giorgio Armani won Bronze.
The development and production of the display cabinet for the cosmetics manufacturer L'Oréal Germany put the desires of customers front centre of a booth display for product launches. This should both serve the requirements for information provision and sales, and should live up to the innovations of appliance technology. Moreover, the flexibility of the units was needed. Interchangeable elements should allow for product variations. In addition to solid wood with a silky gloss surface in a curved shape, acrylic glass was predominantly used in the production. The display was used over a period of one year in selected perfumeries. So far it has been able to support sales very successfully.
The aim behind the Giorgio Armani fragrance bar was creating a flexible usable display, reflecting via its noble appearance the premium character of the brand. To achieve this, chrome steel, cloth and items made of acrylic glass were used. An innovative technology makes it possible to make do with two separate components and light panels with only one cable.
